MakeInvoice is published by Vimatech Ltd, a UK company building software for European freelancers and small teams.
The problem
Between 2026 and 2027, invoicing becomes a regulatory matter for three million French freelancers. Large vendors sell compliance projects; neobanks give compliance away to sell something else. In between, the freelancer who simply wants to send an invoice and get paid is left with very little.
Our stance
Compliance should be invisible and included, in the free plan too. What we will charge for are the features that bring money in faster: payment, reminders, multi-country. None of them exists today, and we say so rather than let you assume otherwise. We do not sell fear of fines.
What we are not
MakeInvoice is not an accredited platform and does not claim to be: your invoices are transmitted by a registered partner. We are not an accounting firm either — we do not give tax advice, we produce compliant invoices.
Where we stand
The product is in early access. We would rather say so than fake a customer base: you will always know what is live and what is still being built.
